Early Years Learning

(Nursery – Pre-Primary II)

At Laurel High Global School, we believe that the foundation of lifelong learning is built in the early years. Our Pre-Primary program is designed to nurture each child’s natural curiosity, creativity, and confidence through an approach that encourages thinking, exploring, and expressing rather than rote learning.

Learning through Thinking and Doing

Our classrooms are vibrant spaces where children don’t just listen—they question, imagine, and discover. Each learning experience begins with a simple yet thought-provoking question that inspires exploration and connects learning to real life. Through stories, play, art, music, and hands-on activities, children learn to understand the why behind what they do.

Our Approach Focuses On:

  • Experiential Learning:Children engage in joyful, hands-on experiences that make learning meaningful and memorable.
  • Social and Emotional Growth:Activities help children develop empathy, teamwork, self-expression, and confidence.
  • Cognitive Development:Foundational literacy and numeracy skills are built through patterns, observation, and conversation—not memorization.
  • Teacher as Facilitator:Our educators guide and encourage, helping children think for themselves and express their ideas freely.
  • Reflection and Expression:Each session ends with reflection—children share what they’ve learned, felt, or imagined through art, talk, or action.
